Encore Suits offers free suit hire through trusted charity partners for individuals facing hardship.

We support people at key moments such as job interviews, court appearances, housing appointments, funerals and other important life events where feeling presentable can make a real difference. Sometimes it is not about fashion. It is about dignity, confidence and the removal of barriers.

Many of our suits are purchased directly from local charity shops, meaning funds go back into charitable work before the suit even reaches us. Clothing stays in circulation, landfill is reduced and access is widened.

Our approach is simple and respectful. No judgement. No fuss. Just good quality suits when they are needed most.

How Referrals Work

We keep the process straightforward and low pressure for both organisations and the individuals you support.

1. Referral
   A support worker contacts us with basic details including name, size if known and event date.

2. Suit Selection
   We confirm availability and arrange a fitting or collection time.

3. Free Hire
   The suit is provided at no cost through the referring organisation.

4. Return
   The suit is returned within the agreed timeframe. We handle cleaning and preparation for its next use.

We understand that circumstances can be complex. Communication is always prioritised.

Keeping the Service Sustainable

To ensure this free hire service can continue for others, referring organisations act as a guarantor for the suit during the hire period.

Suits should be returned within 48 hours of the agreed return time. If a suit is not returned within this period and we are unable to make contact, the purchase value plus an admin charge of the suit may be invoiced to the referring organisation.

In practice this is rare. This structure simply helps keep the service available for future referrals.
